With a steady pace and small cast we are presented with several questions about our existence, future and ideas of attraction. Gleeson, Vikander, and Isaac deliver strong performances aided by visual effects, slick dance choreography and a Pollock painting. "
"The very first film I've seen to come along, since Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey" in 1968, to paint A.I. in a negative--or at least, cautionary--light, a counter-argument that I think is valid and needs to be expressed more often. Kudos to Garland for not conforming to the propaganda-machine!"
