Stuck in a rush hour detour, cancer-survivor Julia Hughes snaps, bolting from the car and leaving her husband and her life behind. Running through the stream of traffic, she accidentally collides with Sidney Steadman, an odd man in his sixties who claims to be a retired insurance salesman. After revealing more about her past than anyone could possibly know, he tells her the cancer is spreading, and the exact date of her death.Julia stops. The implications sink in.
