When the miller Cornelius decides to build his windmill on top of the mountain, above a little village, he is far from thinking how his presence, so sincere and rough, is going to upset the natural order of the village. Mustanaamio7's Movie Diary 2023 (58 movies items)"14.12. 2023 A mysterious stranger called Cornelius arrives to a remote village and becomes a miller that the village needs, but soon people start detesting him because of his weird habit of howling during night time. "Cornélius, le meunier hurlant" is a French film based on a book by Finnish author Arto Paasilinna. The film mixes elements of comedy and tragedy in a successfull way and the story is a bittersweet reminder of difficulty of acceptance."
