The Noah's Ark Principle review

Posted : 11 years, 8 months ago on 26 August 2012 06:25

I am one of the few who saw in his first film colombi. Rent the beginning of Noah's Ark (Das Arche Noah Prinzip, 1984) in one of those old neighborhood video stores. I was a teenager and I have not visionarla, but I found an interesting movie. Apparently, this was his first film work Limit in Germany, but in view of its quality commercially exploit decided. The action unfolded aboard a space station run by Europeans and Americans. Here Americans officiated by evil imperialists who tried plugging the hard way in the Middle East invasion. I guess the good thing about Roland is still expiating this peccadillo of youth.

He made the film for his doctoral thesis in 1981 (according to Wikipedia),
and opened the International Film Festival in Berlin in 1984.
In the same year the film was distributed.

The Noah's Ark Principle review

interesting debut Roland Emmerich, director of "Independence Day," "Stargate," "Godzilla" and the expected "10,000 BC". Science fiction story set in the year 1997 (the film is from 1984), and where all the action takes place on a space station. Not your typical directorial debut of R. Emmerich, with little budget and few resources, quite the opposite, more like what has driven at hand virtually his entire career, ie making blockbusters. SPOILER: the most interesting thing about the film is the central theme: time management metereolรณgico by people, who, to this day, remains one of the biggest conspiracies. END OF SPOILER.
