“To be honest, I wasn’t exactly a huge fan of ‘Altered Carbon’, it was a decent TV-show but not much more than that. However, after a watching the trailer for this anime, I thought I might as well check it out since it was available on Netflix. Well, the main reason I wanted to check the damned thing was because the animation seemed really neat and, indeed, the whole thing looked awesome. Above all, I thought it was a perfect fit for the futuristic world displayed in ‘Altered Carbon’. Still, while the numerous action scenes looked convincing, somehow, when the characters would just stand still or simply walk, it wasn’t really so smooth anymore though.
