A very average movie

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much before watching this but I thought it could be neat for my young step-son to watch. I guess it's a pretty cool movie for kids but I thought it was just terribly boring. I have actually nothing against Frankie Muniz and, in fact, I thought he was actually not bad at all here and the whole thing had some potential but it was just really poorly developed. I mean, some of the funny bits were sometimes quite decent but each time they went for some straightforward spy actions with some goofy gadgets, it became terribly underwhelming. In fact, it is pretty much the reason why the sub-genre involving spy children is always a failure. Indeed, on one hand, spies are supposed to risk their life on the job but, on the other hand, since we are dealing with some children, nothing remotely dangerous actually happen to them and, as a result, those movies always end up looking even more fake than the spy movies involving grown ups. I must admit it though, Angie Harmon did look gorgeous in this movie, thanks to all these sexy outfits. Anyway, to conclude, it was really pretty weak and I don't think it is really worth a look, especially if you are older than 13 years old.
