Mona Goya was born on November 25, 1909 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. She was an actress and director, known for Cavalerie légère (1935), Mandrin (1947) and Chérie (1930). She was married to Fernand Fabre. She died on October 8, 1961 in Clichy-la-Garenne, Hauts-de-Seine, France.
Blonde Mexican-born French actress and singer, equally at home in both Spanish and French-speaking films. She was born Marchand, but gave herself the stage name of Goya, as a tribute to her favorite painter. During the 1930's, she had a brief tenure in English films with British International and, less successfully, in Hollywood.
