Description: Mike Posner (born February 12, 1988) is an American singer, songwriter, and producer. His debut album, 31 Minutes to Takeoff, will be released August 10, 2010. Posner was born in Detroit, Michigan, the son of a pharmacist and an attorney. His father is Jewish and his mother is Catholic. Posner attended Wylie E. Groves High School and Duke University, and was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity (Gamma Chapter).With Don Cannon and DJ Benzi, he released his first mixtape, "A Matter of Time," from his dorm room at Duke University in March 2009.
