Finley later attended the University of Wisconsin, where he majored in business and averaged over 20 points per game. He finished his career as the all time leading scorer in Wisconsin history, with over 2,100 points. Finley was drafted in the first round of the 1995 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns.
