The Hong Kong actress was born in 1956 and a native of Guangdong province. She enrolled the first acting class of TVB in 1971 and it opened her door to showbiz. In 1973, she won the Miss Beach Pageant by RTV and subsequently became a TV actress for the local station. She jumped to the silver screen the following year and starred in "Bald-Headed Betty", where her bald head and audacious nudity had stirred up quite a sensation, and thus she was labeled as a sex symbol.
