Was in a semi-fatal Motorcycle accident in Santiago Canyon (South Orange County, CA) on April 24, 2005 and woke up from his coma on Sunday, June 5, 2005.
Has Titanium in both his arms... a rod in his left arm and a rod in his right arm. Both Titanium rods are hammered between his Radius and Ulna, as he split them both in half at 100+mph.
He had an 8mm Tracheotomy inserted in his neck to allow him to breathe while he was comatose.
He had his right shoulder rebuilt, as he smashed & dislocated it in his accident.

He was in approximately 6hrs of Surgery on April 24, 2005 at Western Medical Center in Orange County, CA. The surgery included the setting of his bones, drilling of his skull to relieve pressure from the swelling of fluids and the insertion of his tracheotomy.
He also had a "HALO" drilled into his skull to support his smashed/damaged spinal chord (3rd Vertebrae) in order to heal correctly. This was put on due to his post-accident neck fracture for spinal stabilization surgery. There were 4 bolts drilled directly into his skull, 2 Anterior and 2 Posterior. The securing of the "HALO" ring to the cranial pins (in his skull) was for the attachment of the "HALO" device to the vest unit using four rods (2 in the front and 2 in the back). His head and neck were completely immobilized. This device (The "HALO") was crucial for the management of a variety of conditions that destabilized his cervical spine.
He was also fed via a Gastrostomy Tube (G-Tube) while he was comatose. The G-Tube was inserted directly into his stomach to provide an alternate way to offer food and medicine to him.
Has 2 younger brothers, Michael Lance and Jarrod Craig.
His mother, Cheryl first was diagnosed with breast cancer, had her left breast removed, as well as 16 lymph nodes removed.
His mother, Cheryl also had a "HALO" put on her head (but was not drilled into her skull), due to her having a surgery called the "Gamma Knife", which was the first "non-op" surgery. A "Gamma Knife" is a device used to treat brain tumors with a high dose of radiation therapy in one day. This brain tumor was located on the outside of her left frontal lobe of the brain, between the left eye and the connection to the brain and was calculated to be almost the size of a golf ball. After the "Gamma Knife" non-op surgery, it was reduced to the size of a pea.
His mother, Cheryl, after years of battling two different forms of cancer, breast and brain, got her third and final form of cancer on her Spinal Chord. After years of Chemotherapy, Radiation and Surgery, she finally was "done" and "gave up" on trying to heal. She passed away in her sleep on October 20, 1998.
Is of Russian (on his Father's side) and English (on his Mother's side) decent.

This event celebrates S.P.U.F (Spirit, Pride, Unity, and Friendship) with over 7,000 individuals and over 50 colleges and universities across the nation. Friendship Games began in 1985 for the sole purpose of bringing together cultural clubs from various college campuses across Southern California.
Was the Creative Director for Aqcess Technologies/Great Cities, Inc. of Irvine, CA. Aqcess Technologies designed the World's First Tablet PC (The QBE) and he helped the team win "Best of Comdex in 1999/2000". He was also given an "Employee of The Year" Award in 2000 from Aqcess Technologies/Great Cities, Inc.
Worked for The Disney Resorts while in College from 1993-1997.
He was in a wheelchair from the day of his accident (in April 2005) till the first week of August 2005, when he learned to walk again. This was due to his Spinal Chord injury from his motorcycle accident.
He also taught 4-5yr olds (Noah's Place) at his old church in Irvine, CA Newsong.

Used to be trilingual as a child, speaking Russian, Spanish and English.
