Marc Gasol Sáez is a Spanish professional basketball player for the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was drafted 48th overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2007 NBA draft. After having his rights traded to the Memphis Grizzlies in 2008, he signed with the team and remained with the franchise until being traded to Toronto in 2019. He is a two-time All-NBA Team member, a three-time NBA All-Star, and an NBA champion. In 2013, he was named the NBA Defensive Player of the Year.
