Mandip Gill is an English actress and narrator, best known for her role as Yasmin Khan, a companion to the Thirteenth Doctor, in the TV series Doctor Who from 2018 to 2022. She was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England and is of Indian Punjabi descent.
Before her breakthrough role in Doctor Who, Mandip appeared in various TV shows and theatre productions. She first gained recognition for her role as Phoebe McQueen in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks from 2012 to 2015. She has also appeared in shows like Cuckoo, Doctors, The Good Karma Hospital, and Casualty.
