In the success of Mamdu, the key role was played not by the owner of the network of gyms, but by Dennis James, a veteran of bodybuilding. It was he who saw in Ramy great potential, long before his first tournament. Dennis helped develop a training plan, diet and, of course, shared knowledges. The starting point for Big Ramy's career was the 2012 amateur Olympia. It was there that he made his debut appearance on the platform in the category of heavyweights. The audience and the judges appreciated the quality and quantity of Mamdu. He easily wins his category and absolute, thereby earning a PRO card.
