Maariah Hussain

Maariah Hussain is an English actress and singer of stage and screen. Born in Bradford, England, she attends Bradford Grammar School and trains at the Yorkshire School of Acting. She has performed on stage from an early age in her local theatres; the West Yorkshire Playhouse and The Leeds Grand Theatre. Furthermore, throughout her youth has performed as part of the Opera North Company, later joining the Yorkshire School of Acting to focus on film acting. At age 16, she made her professional onscreen debut as Alya Nawaz on the Channel 4 drama series, Ackley Bridge.
