As a singer, Lou Lesage has the vocal inflections of Cat Power and The Kills rock hardiness. The EP opens Forgotten Child, as the evanescent atmosphere, the black magic worthy of Mazzy Star. Other pieces are more electric. They evoke both a brown Blondie (the aptly named Dirty Looks) Pj Harvey (Private Life) and bubbly carefree Shangri-Las (Never Can Wait).
In 2013, Lou fashion side becomes the face of the campaign Thomsen.

Lou Lesage grandit au milieu de la discothèque familiale. Elle y découvre The Rolling Stones, The Velvet Underground, The Stooges, les albums de son père (Cherokees, Suspense, Rubberband…) et, enfin, ceux d'Ultra Orange, le dernier groupe de ses parents qui avait en 2007 participé au premier disque de l’actrice Emmanuelle Seigner.
Le premier album de Lou Lesage est signé par son père. Pierre Emery y dévoile son amour pour sa fille et, en tant que mélomane, de l’Amérique. Les musiques de l'album sont enregistrées dans l’atelier parisien d’Ultra Orange. Les voix et le mixage sont réalisés à Nashville dans le studio souvent arpenté par Jack White. La sortie du disque est précédée par un EP jaune et noir, la couleur de la banane warholienne.
En tant que chanteuse, Lou Lesage possède les inflexions vocales de Cat Power et la rusticité rock de The Kills. L'EP s'ouvre sur Forgotten Child, titre à l'ambiance évanescente, à la magie noire digne de Mazzy Star. Les autres morceaux sont plus électriques. Ils évoquent à la fois une Blondie brune (le bien nommé Dirty Looks), Pj Harvey (Private Life) et l’insouciance pétillante des Shangri-Las (Never Can Wait).
En 2013, Lou côté mode devient l'égérie de la campagne Thomsen.
