Wrong Turn (2003)
The only one I actually consider great. It doesn't reinvent the wheel but is perfetly paced, tense, brutal and interesting.
Paulo Júnior's rating:
A good movie, a terrible Wrong Turn movie. Has nothing to do with the rest of the franchise. It is well made, though. I get divided on this one.
Paulo Júnior's rating:
It is very well made, although definitely too mean in a way that I think goes against what this franchise used to be about. The killings used to be quick and fun, and now is bad torture porn. I say one of the strengths of this franchise is being able to make us care for the characters and this movie does so too.

Wrong Turn 2: Dead End (2007)
Its strength lies in making us care for the characters. I really didn't think the reality show angle was good or added anything to the film.

Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead (2009)
A cool premise, the ability to make us care for the characters is still here, but main girl actress acting is atrocious and her character is stupid af and lives which I hated. Other than that, the deaths which were a highlight are now too comic-booky unreal.

Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines (2013)
Great premise wasted in a torture porn that is terrible, unpleasant, unfun. Just suffering with no reason, there's no theme and no payback. Because it is a movie interested only in filling the blanks between this and the 1st movie (since it is a prequel), it's not interested in telling itself a good story. The movie constantly tells us exactly what'll happen and then it happens like it told us (boring). It also has joy in making the characters have a moment of epiphany about their lives and become better people just before being killed that is, again, excessively mean for no reason.

Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort (2014)
Since about the 4th movie this series has been more and more divided between horror and soft porn. In this one is finally 50/50. Yay! (irony) There's nothing redeeming about this atrocity of a movie. The plot barely makes sense, character decisions mostly make no sense at all. Most of all it is extremely boring. No, scratch that "extremely" because that makes the boring sound less boring than it actually is. The movie ended and it felt like it had never even actually began.
Paulo Júnior's rating:
My personal ranking of the Wrong Turn movies. Because my friends decided to watch the whole series so I find myself positioned to do this ranking.
