The Devil All The Time by Donald Ray Pollock
"In the backwoods of Ohio, Willard Russell’s wife is succumbing to cancer, no matter how much he drinks, prays, or sacrifices animals at his "prayer log." Meanwhile, his son Arvin is growing up, from a kid bullied at school into a man who knows when to take action. Around them swirl a nefarious cast of characters—a demented team of serial killers, a spider-eating preacher, and a corrupt local sheriff—all braided into a riveting narrative of the grittiest American grain."
Eileen Atkins as EMMA RUSSELL
The mother to Willard, the grandmother of Arvin, a church-going woman who takes in the orphans Arvin & Lenora. Lives with Earskell.
Juno Temple as LENORA
The orphaned daughter of Helen. She is raised alongside Arvin by Emma & Earskell.
Crispin Glover as REVEREND TEAGARDIN
The "evil" priest that takes over after Sykes steps down as Reverend.
Pruitt Taylor as THEODORE
The other half of the spider-eating preacher show. He is in a wheelchair and if I remember correctly sports an eye-patch and is mentally insane.
Woody Harrelson as LEE BODECKER (THE SHERIFF)...
The corrupt Sheriff of Knockemstiff, Ohio. Also, the Sandy's older brother.
Sheri Moon Zombie as SANDY
Lee Bodecker's younger sister. Carl's lover. The model half of the sadistic serial killing duo.
Ben Mendelsohn as HANK
The corner store clerk in Knockemstiff, Ohio. Dreams of going to Cincinnati to see a baseball game.
Director/Screenwriter as DAVID FINCHER
I think he's got a good eye and a good vibe going with the movies Fight Club, Seven, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Zodiac & Gone Girl. He's got a good grittiness and eye/creativity that would give the story the justice it deserves.
Producer as ROB ZOMBIE
Since I cast his wife, including the three other actors of The Devils Rejects, plus his movies period, he's just got the right mind for this project.
