Decent family film. Lots of fatastical critters and magic to set kids fantases ablaze, a hero and heroine pair saving the day, and some cute romance. Also a story about an evil man mistreating children and the heroes being nice to children. Hooray!

However, it is clearly aimed at younger audiences, so don't expect much of substance for your mind to grapple with as an adult.
