I have a somewhat strange way to evaluate a movie in advance and to decide if it worth watching, worth buying a Blu-ray or DVD disc (if no Blu-ray is available), go to a movie theater, or even driving one or two hours to a movie theater to watch it. The movie needs to have at least 4-6 still frames (available on the internet), which are beautiful as just photographs. An adjustment is unconsciously made to the fact that stills are arranged not by the still photographer, but by the director and the cinematographer. In a very good movie you regularly get such stills-screenshots when you press "pause" by whatever reason.
In this list I will try to collect some of such stills and still photographs (the latter are not what you see in the movie, but usually close to one of the frames). I would like to avoid the most well known images, and to the extent possible, the well known movies and actors.
Of course, I have other ways to evaluate a movie before watching it, but only this method never failed. If there are stills which I like, I like the movie.
