What an experience watching movie in 3D on the end day of it release in Pathe' Amsterdam Cental.
A sequel to Transformers and Transformers
Movie I say is another masterpiece produced by Steven Spielberg & directed by Michael Bay.
The film storyline is based on the Autobots learning about a Cybertronian spacecraft on the moon and they must race against the Decepticons to find it and learn its secrets for the final battle.
Autobots and Humans have great challenge ahead as they have to save the world from Decepticons who are on the way of reviving the lost planet of CYBERTRON. For some the story line maynot be that gripping as the previous movies ot the series, but the effects are more powerful and with the movie release in 3D gives it an edge on the previous releases. A treat to watch, a roaring opening week business is expected.

An impressionistic story of a Texas family in the 1950s, the life journey of the eldest son, Jack, through the innocence of childhood to his disillusioned adult years as he finds himself a lost soul in the modern world, seeking answers to the origins and meaning of life while questioning the existence of faith.
In my opinion the movie disappointed lots of people and was not much to the expectations of many. I watched the movie in Pathé Tuschinski, Rembrandtplein, Amsterdam Centrum and during the course of the show quite a few people left the movie.
Movie has its ups and downs and have editing and camera glitches and the icing on the top that spoiled the tempo of movie is the censored dialogues and scenes one need to be patient to get the total feel of the movie.

Simply superb, i wonder how i missed this 1995 movie. Definielty one of my favorites. Game of cat and mouse between detectives Morgan Freeman & Brad Pitt and the Psycho killer, Kevin spacey
Two men are on the trail of a demented serial killer. One who is killing people according to the punishments of the Seven Deadly Sins. The climax of movie occured at the end.
Treat to watch however If you’re not one for blood and gore, you’ll want to give this one a wide berth, as director David Fincher doesn’t hold back when it comes to showing us the various victims in all their grisly detail. But regardless of your opinions on being shown that sort of stuff on-screen, it’s worth knowing that it doesn’t ever detract from what is a highly accomplished piece of movie-making. The balance between style, atmospherics and good ol’ fashioned story-telling is just about right, and the performances from all involved (including Kevin Spacey, even though he only pops up for about half an hour) are spot on.

Super 8 (2011)

I have seen this movie at home with bearable print, but this is a movie to definitely see in the theaters, or even in IMAX if available.
While J.J. Abrams' Super 8 features an alien, it isn't all about aliens. And that's a good thing.
It's about a young kid realizing that grief isn't something you get over, it's something you learn to live with. It's about fathers and sons, and the conflict that comes when the former struggles to relate to the latter.
A good one with kids playing the lead roles.
Super 8's biggest success centers on how it captures life in Smalltown, U.S.A. in 1979. It tells the story of a group of teens making a zombie movie in their backyard when their camera catches a massive train crash on film which turns out it's a military train and there's something on that train that the military needs to find ASAP. Something from Area 51 escapes from the wreckage, wreaks havoc on a local town. That something turns out to be a monster of some sort. The monster decides to start making the town his play-toy by stealing things and destroying buildings and the kids find themselves experiencing events that will change them forever.
The actors, even the kids in this movie, were pretty entertaining. Another shining aspect of Super 8 would be the special effects. The train crash itself was phenomenal.

British filmmaker Duncan Jones, who burst onto the scene in 2009 with his cerebral sci-fi drama Moon, directs the new sci-fi thriller Source Code.
A helicopter pilot,Captain Colter Stevens who was on a combat mission in Afghanistan when he inexplicably wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he discovers he's part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. In an assignment unlike any he's ever known, he learns he's part of a government experiment called the "Source Code," a program that enables him to cross over into another man's identity in the last 8 minutes of his life. With a second, much larger target threatening to kill millions in downtown Chicago, Colter re-lives the incident over and over again, gathering clues each time, until he can solve the mystery of who is behind the bombs and prevent the next attack.
A SciFi thirller, a power imagination but one thing for sure, human feelings can not be inculcated. Should be on WATCH LIST.

Sam Rockwell plays, the only character in Moon. His role is that of Sam Bell, a meager laborer at an energy-mining colony on the moon who, lonesome and remote, engineers the extraction of Helium-3, the world's new-fangled energy resource. His only friend: a computer named Gerty which is fitted with emoticons and is voiced by Kevin Spacey.
