Heavy Rain fancast

In his latest film, The Place Beyond the Pines, Cianfrance delivered a crime thriller with deep emotional complexity as well as graphic imagery. This is exactly the kind of director who should helm Heavy Rain.

due to his acting talent and ability to show complex dark characters, I think Aaron Paul should play the character of Ethan Mars.

As the role of Catwoman in 2012's The Dark Knight Rises, Hathaway showed she has the snarky edge to play Madison, but also the cool style of the character. I think she could bring the character to light and make her even cooler than she was in the game.

In many of his roles, Gillen has shown he has an enormous amount of talent for playing smart and clever characters. A lot of people have said Joseph Gordon-Levitt, but as much as I like some of his films I don't think this is the role for JGL. Aiden however would be great.

Stellan is a great actor, one who can play both convincing heroes or convincing villains. This would be a cool role because he can show both sides of his talent.

Jennifer is another great actress. This role would be good for her to do, because she would get a lot of different types of scenes, all of which she has shown in films like Requiem for a Dream she could totally pull off.

Ruffalo has the acting skill to be a dick character, as shown in his film Now you See Me. But he can also play funny, as seen in most of his movies. This is a role that would need both sarcastic humour and unlikability, which he can totally do.

Roger Deakins is a great cinematographer, a genius who knows exactly how to blend shadows with the screen. Heavy Rain is a dark game and needs this sort of style.

With soundtracks like Inception, The Thin Red Line, and Rush, Hans seems like he can make an epic and sad soundtrack, one that would be great for exactly this.
