Happy Jack
I love when Pete and John are singing the "La,la la's", every time Keith is tapping the drums. And when they change up the "la, la la's" it kind of makes me laugh. Plus Keith's mad drumming on this song is one of the reasons why I still think he's one of the best drummers ever, despite being disproved several times.

Water Run Dry
I used to listen to alot of R&B back in the day, but my interest in it has waned alot. However, Boyz II Men has managed to be one of those groups who I still listen to. As far as Harmonies go, it's the 'let's don't wait til the water runs dry' part that always gets me in the heart. When I hear it, it always feels like one of those 'what if' songs. I haven't any successful relationships so when I hear the song it makes a little sad and gets me thinking 'what if.'

Marrakesh Express
I first heard this song, when I was watching a BBC special and it was Graham Nash and David Crosby doing an acoustic set. It was that version of the song I always loved, I can't stand the album version. I like the quiet way Graham sings and those 'doo doo doo's' that David is quietly doing the whole time. It's a song that I can imagine myself going away somewhere while listening to it. It kind of relaxes me.

Once In A Lifetime
Hahaha I saw the video first! The song comes Philadelphia MGK all the time, but until I got Soundhound I had no idea who made the song.
The chorus ( watching the days go by..) is one fine piece of male singing. The other part I like, is probably the 'Same as it ever was. same as it ever was', and it ends up being like a mantra. I like it because it sounds like a crazy man on the edge. And I can't get the video out of my mind, ever.

5D
- oh how is it that I can come out to you and be still floatin'? and never hit bottom and keep fallin through, just relaxed and paying attention? - San Francisco. 1966. I wasn't there, but listening to this I can just pretend. I can see myself there. They said the Byrds were nothing without Gene Clark, and they may have waned in creative ideas but I'll be damned if this song makes me feel like I'm floating.

That's The Way
... No one is really singing Harmony on the parts I'm captivated by. Well there is one, when a bunch of Robert's are saying "MMM". It doesn't look exciting but that mmm part gives way to some of the most beautiful soft playing Jimmy Page has ever done. ( maybe ) Whatever tone it is, the part where he's strumming feels like laughter and or sunshine. Laughter and sunshine.

The Ghost In You
Vh1 Classics is responsible for me knowing this song. It's funny the video has never appeared on Vh1 ever again. I like Richard Butler's voice. Some say it's grating yet I always thought he was real emotional. - Inside you the time moves and she don't fade. The ghost in you she dont fade. -

I Don't Wanna Know
It just bounces and swings, you know? Just the rocking movement of the song in the beginning just makes you want to dance. ( You say ya love me but you don't ..) The words aren't so happy though. They were all falling apart by then anyway.

Perpetual Change
Is an illusion shining down in front of me - I have no idea what it means. Gosh, do I love it! I have done interpreted dance to this song ( in my own home ) and it fills me with joy, and the urge to move.

Time Of The Season
Remember 'Awakenings'? Well Robert De Niro and Robin Williams are walking dlon the boardwalk summer 1969. If it's ever a song I think of when I think of Robert De Niro its Time of the Season. When I first heard I honestly felt like it was heaven.

Don't Stand So Close to Me 86
There were many to choose from. People never liked this song but it still has that Police charm. I refuse to acknowledge all of the foolishness going on during the song's recording. I guess you could say music is a high because it is a high hearing all of those 'Don't Stand's' winding together so ... perfect.

All Apologies
all in all is all we are. Perhaps it's not technically heavenly harmonic and they sure don't sound like soft melodic people but I love i because i love it and I just can't explain why.

Spanish Harlem
It's like they can write what I'm feeling. See George Harrison was my favorite Beatle and I knew he was dead but it didn't hit me until I saw his and Linda McCartney's death on StandUp2Cancer. I kept listening to the song and thinking about that, weeping and stuff. They sound like they're just floating over each other or something. Their voices mesh together so gloriously.

I Only Have Eyes For You
You see, I have this thing for Robert De Niro which makes me scour the earth to see every De Niro movie made. Heard this from A Bronx Tale. It gave me that fast heartbeat - warm faced - love sick feeling. It was so blissful.

I'll see you on the Dark Side of the Moon! It feels like we're calling out to someone. I really enjoy that part. That and the lunatic that's laughing part. Disturbing, Funny and something else that gives me that feeling.

White Bird
It's an ambience thing. Sitting in the grass, passing 'freedom' pills around to each other, holding hands and hugging people, dancing erratically and dissapearing into the pot clouds above. Yeah, I was quite still when I first heard it. I was somewhere else I guess.

Scarborough Fair / Canticle
Like a symphonies of angels singing. About 5 or more Simon's and Garfunkel's all singing together. Listened to it the same day I saw The Boy In The Stripped Pajamas. I was depressed and crying all freakin day. Heavenly indeed.

Shiny Happy People
Kate Pierson and that guy named Mike, well they sound so enthusiastic and bright, and Peter Buck's playing this cool speedy line that makes my ears so very happy. Plus there's that ' do do ( do do ) do do( do do do ) do do ' part that I really like.
20 songs with the best harmonies in my opinion, that I have had the pleasure of listening to. My first list so sorry if it's a little wierd. I really tried.
