Girls' Night in

Movie list created by issaglamgirl Avatar

1. MEAN GIRLS:
"In reality, she's so much more than that!!" Yes. Just like Regina George, this movie is so much more than typical, backstabbing mean girls whining about boyfriends. Its about powerplay, betrayal and revenge yet at the end of the day, being true to yourself. I would say this is the ULTIMATE Chick Flick to watch. If the Plastics can mend themselves, then anybody can, you know?
2. LEGALLY BLONDE:
I would start by saying that this is MY personal favorite! What would yo do if your boyfriend says that you are not smart enough to be with him just because you are always dolled up and are too blonde? Well, do EXACTLY what Elle Woods did! She became a Harvard Graduate Lawyer! And remember what she said, "Most importantly, you must always have faith in yourself"
3. CLUELESS:
Before Blair Waldorf (Gossip Girl), there was Cher, the original Queen B. Inspired by Jane Austen's novel 'Emma' this movie has every Chick Flick material: Makeover, Matchmaking, Heartbreak and Happily Ever After.
4. THE PRINCESS DIARIES:
One day, a nerdy, awkward teen gets to know that she is Princess Mia Thermoplis!Through her journey of becoming a princess from a nobody, her friends especially her grandmother the Queen was always there for her. The whole movie is drenched with Anne Hathaway's sweetness and after watching this, you will end up with a smile on your face.
5. BRIDGET JONES DIARY:
My another personal Favorite. You can't help but falling in love with Bridget Jone's quirky, awkward yet sweet nature. She's a woman in her 30s with a mediocre job, no boyfriend and a weight problem. Renee Zellweger was nominated for an OSCAR for her portrayal of Bridget Jones. Cool, na? And btw, have you heard the song 'It's Raining Men, Hallelujah'? You really can't imagine this song without Collin Firth and Hugh Grant having a fight on the street. Can ya?
6. 13 GOING ON 30:
Thirty and Flirty! This is what Jenna Rink wished on her 13th birthday. And guess what, she wakes up actually becoming a 30 year old Jenna! What happens after that? Well, do watch it to find out. Also, they gave a tribute to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' through a dance sequence. Overall a fun and flirty movie to watch gals!
ENCHANTED:
"Dreams do come true!" Yes it does! Imagine a real Disney princess coming out of a manhole in New York City. Goosebumps! This movie will give you the vibe of Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty altogether. Also, there is a scene where all pigeons, cockroaches and squirrels enter in an apartment to sing and help Princess Giselle cleanup! Well, I've said enough!
THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA:
OMG! Its Meryl Streep in a Chick Flick! And she was nominated for an OSCAR( Like, DUH!) for her portrayal of Miranda Priestly in this super stylish movie. It is loosely based on Anna Wintour, the Editor in Chief of Vogue Magazine. And as an icing on the cake, it has Anne Hathaway playing the role of her assistant! So what are you waiting for?
27 DRESSES:
The fun part of being a bridesmaid? Throughout her life, Jane (Katherine Heigl)has worn a total of 27 dresses as a bridesmaid! And when it comes the time for her to be a bridesmaid for her own sister's wedding, Jane finds out that the sister is getting married to the man she loves (RUDE!) So what does Jane do now? Go watch it and find out.
BRIDE WARS:
Imagine you and your bestfriend getting married on the same day, at the same venue. Fun, na? But it was not the case for Liv( Kate Hudson) and Emma (Anne Hathaway). They actually started a BRIDE WAR, sabotaging each others biggest day! They say everything is fair in love and war, but what about Friendship, huh?
UPTOWN GIRLS:
My absolute favorite! I think I've watched this movie way too many times! This movie is about a beautiful bond between Molly Gunn, a carefree, rich spoiled brat played by Britanny Murphy, and an uptight little girl Ray (Dakota Fanning) for whom she works as a nanny. Together, they experience all the ups and downs of their lives, but one thing remains unchanged: their love for each other. This 'Coming out of age' movie is really worth watching! Also, this movie has a great soundtrack. Go watch it now!
MISS CONGENIALITY:
You gotta love Sandra Bullock movies! Here, she plays a Federal Agent (FBI) who takes part in Miss America competition as an undercover, (WAIT, WHAT?) The rest is for you to watch.
HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN 10 DAYS:
Answer me this, Why the hell Matthew McConaughey is so hot? I think he looks best with Kate Hudson. In this movie, they both make a bet. Of what? Go watch it to find out!
