Mother 3 - Game Boy Advance
This is bar none one of the great RPG's. Mother2 was known here stateside as "Earthbound". Mother3 never got a stateside release, so I had to buy the Japanese release...

Koudelka - PlayStation
This game was actually a prequel to the Shadow Hearts series from PS2. The Shadow Hearts series was very entertaining specifically the first Shadow Hearts game. I played through it several times alone.

Panzer Dragoon Saga - Sega Saturn
I would love to see a sequel to this game, or even see this be remade on the current gen scale. I am one of the very few folks who pre-ordered the game and got ahold of my copy.

Parasite Eve - PlayStation
Parasite Eve series... (PS1)
Shockingly enough, one of the few Square games that hasn't had alot said about it. I loved playing through this game, it had some RPG elements & a strange storyline.
There is a rumored sequel coming to the PSP.

Parasite Eve II - PlayStation
Not nearly as good as the first game, but still had the same mechanics.

Strider 2 - PlayStation
A classic 80's game, that finally got a sequel with this PS1 game. Would make a great action game along the lines of Ninja Gaiden...
DJ Misfit's rating:
Vagrant Story - PlayStation
Another Square game that was dropped... A great game that would look stunning on a current gen console...
DJ Misfit's rating:
Vandal Hearts - PlayStation
One of my all time favorite games. I played through this game too many times to count. A great strategy RPG.

Zone Of The Enders - PlayStation 2
ZOE is a Hideo Kojima game (of Metal Gear Solid fame), about futuristic world and mechs. It was a fun game. It actually had a sequel for the PS2 as well.
Shenmue - Sega Dreamcast
No list is complete without Shenmue. The rumored trilogy first appeared on Sega Dreamcast. Sadly, much like Panzar Dragoon Saga it was a late Dreamcast game, and we did not see a sequel until the Xbox. A rumored followup for the PS3/X360, have been tossed about. Although with the creator of the games, Yu Suzuki's recent retirement from Sega it is unlikely.
ลkami - PlayStation 2
This game had amazing graphics and a fun gameplay mechanic. Was developed by the great Clover Studios, which was disbanded by Capcom. The members have since moved on to help form Platinum Games, so who knows if they still hold the license for the game.
DJ Misfit's rating:
Xenogears - PlayStation
Another Square entry, that had some mechs in it. I owned this game but it disappeared... Great game.
Just a simple list of games I think that are needing a follow-up or sequel...
