REVENGE IS A LUXURY WE CAN’T AFFORD

Eight year wait has come to an end and I’ve been so amazed and mesmerized by this game for the last five days, so I don’t even know where to begin.
It’s freaking AWESOME!
So gorgeous looking, that I could not believe it’s on this generation consols. The world itself is so huge and lively, that it’s almost impossible to bump into same side events on the same game day.
And talking about side events:
Hunting hundreds differet types of animals, fishing, searching treasures, collecting bounties, doing favors for your gang members as well as those strangers which you can bump into while wandering, around, upgrading your camp, doing daily chores like you do in real life and my personal favorite, getting to know the detailed world itself while doing all of these things, which Rockstar has created such perfectly where is very easy to get lost.
So there’s so much to do aside from the main storyline, which started so ominously and kept going on very intense direction that im looking forward to continue and finish.
Arthur Morgan is very likebly main character and so charming. You can make him very bad ass gunslinger with a bad attitude, or slighlty better but without losing that harsh personality. His model and voice acting is astounding, such as his fellow gang members and other characters in the world.
The sound design, lighting and craphics are yet again the best thing which makes this game and are executed perfectly, like in its predecessor.
This became easily my favorite game of all time with the first Red Dead Redemption. Westerns has always been part of me since my childhood and holds a special place in my heart as top spot on my movie genre list.
I won’t hurry with this, but rather take my time and enjoy while doing it.

Assassin's Creed: Origins - PlayStation 4
Back in 2007, when I still had my years old PS2 consol, I saw the first cinematic trailer from the first Assassin’s Creed game. After I’d watched it, I needed to buy Xbox 360 just because I wanted to play so badly that amazing looking historical game mixed with real and fictional characters whom paths and stories encounters, great sword fights and parkour. And when it came out, I was an instant fan and it became one of my all time favorite game franchise.
Now, after eight main games later, I jump in ancient Egypt and in the shoes of Bayek.
I like the games brutality, which mainly comes from Bayek’s burning need of revenge his sons death. That familiar gameplay plays smoother than ever before. Graphics looks amazing and the world is lively which holds in many interesting places and different kinds of people.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy - PlayStation 4
Another treasure hunt completed!
Being a big fan of previous four Uncharted games, this was a great add to the franchise and it also became my third favorite part after Among Thief’s and Thief’s End.
This game looked gorgeous. Story, familiar characters and few new ones, jokes and gameplay were executed nicely.

Red Dead Redemption - PlayStation 3
BORN UNTO TROUBLE

Blowed the dust off from old PS3 and desided to play once again one of my Top 5 favorite games of all time ’cause the newest Red Dead Redemption is only few months away and the hype is almost unbearable.
From the start this game brought some good and almost nostalgic memories back from 2010 and couple years after that when I played this game through over and over again first at my Xbox 360 console and later in my PS3. It means so much for me, ’cause im a huge western fan, fan of Rockstar games and of course all the time that I’ve spent on it.
The open world of 1910, nearly end of wild west era is full of life, activities to do and interesting people to meet. From hunting to gambling to unlock outfits and earning reputation. From treasure hunting to helping strangers to see this magnificent looking American and Mexican borderland.
The story itself is so great revenge tale and conclusion very sad. John Marston is very likeable and charismatic antihero who get sucked into this journey by force and has to bring his crimeful past out once again to face it and put it rest once and for all.
Supporting characters are just so fantastic like in all Rockstar’s games. They each have colorful personalities, interesting stories to tell and places to take you.
Graphics, lighting and atmosphere are made so perfectly which are the best features in this game, that you will stop admiring and feeling this beautiful land more than once. Gunplay and sound effects are also so realistic, that you can almost feel the recoil and smell the gunpowder when you’re into some intense duels or hectic battles against banditos.
You can clearly see that Sergio Leone’s westerns has inspired Rockstar while making this western epic and also Ennio Morricone’s music.
This is a masterpiece and I have nothing else but high expectations its sequel which is hitting our shelfs in upcoming fall.

Watch Dogs 2 - PlayStation 4
This game looked gorgeous!
It was what the first Watch Dogs should’ve been based on E3 demo what we saw back in 2012, but you know how that turned out.
That aside, I liked the first game but the main character was little bit dull and on my opinion too old to be an hacker vigilante on this modern technology world which devices are mainly used by younger adults or kids.
This time I liked the main character Marcus alot and he fit the part perfectly. His sence of humor, intelligent and rad looking outfits made him believable hacker and same goes to his colorful posse.
The world of San Fransisco was so detailed and lively as well was the people. The craphics was top notch and the best part of the game. Gunfights were also very hooking to have and the sounds were pretty realistic. You can decide how to exicute your missions by going in sneaking with a tazergun or guns blazing. I sneak them through mainly but when situation reguired, I used some tactical gunplay.
Main campaign was average and the villian interesting. I did played all the side activities, beside two sailing races and few hacking mission and they were enjoyable to play but very familiar Ubisoft world fillers. Usually I can’t play open world games without playing the side quests. Mainly because I can get closer look to the world and see the places where main missions doesn’t necessarily goes. And also it gives me the full gaming experience from the game.

This season was more interactive movie than the previous two. There wasn’t many gameplay chances. Mainly you just made the choices, watched the story go on and pushed the quicktime events. Even the enviroment exploring had lowered minimun.
Clementine, who’s still one of my favorite characters in The Walking Dead universe, was still around and part of the story. She just wasn’t a playable character. She has grown since we last saw her and is more determined and bad ass. She definitely can take care of herself now and you don’t want to rub her the wrong way.
New character Javier was pretty good and this was more of his story than Clementine’s.
Game looked best from all three. Story was all Telltale’s hand writing, like the characters. There was also the familiar cameo from the AMC’s The Walking Dead show.

Taking a step back in time and see what happend before Max returned in Arcadia Bay in this Life Is Strange prequel, which is one of my favorite games in resent years.
Like the indie look, warm and calm atmosphere, cunning and realistic dialogue and colorful characters.
These both games are so close to life itself, which is the reason why I like them so much and the story touches me.

The game definitely had Life Is Strange’s fell to it and it was a nice look back before first season. It showed how Chloe and Rachel met, how they friendship started and what made it so deep. It also sinked in more on Chloe’s sorrow about losing her father in fatal car accident.
The dialogue was golden like in the main game. Chloe is colorful character and it was great to play with her and get more deeply into her own world.
It was also interesting to see what kind of person Rachel was, ’cause in the first season you can only hear from her at other people.
Other familiar characters were there also and they were pretty much the same.
Overall a good gameplay to get deeper into town of Arcadia Bay and it’s mysteries.
