Monk (2002)
A detective show with an interesting protagonist. Tony Shaloub definitely deserved his Emmys.

How I Met Your Mother (2005)
Just the first few seasons, before Barney and Robin did a complete 180 and ended up together, for some reason.

Two and a Half Men (2003)
Sadly, my love for this show ended once Ashton Kutcher showed up and everything became unbearably vulgar (I mean, it was vulgar before, but funny-vulgar. Now it's throw-up-vulgar).

I said I wouldn't watch it when Christopher Meloni aka Elliot Stabler left, but darn, Rollins and Amaro aren't so bad. BARBA takes the cake, though. He's my new favourite DA! :D

The Big Bang Theory (2006)
The show on everyone's love list or hate list. They did some funky things with their characters (the way Amy was suddenly in love with Penny for that one season, or that Penny was completely unlikeable for that same season) but things seem to be returning to their usual, funny, path. Hopefully.
I WANT TO SEE HOWARD'S MOTHER! (But we can't, sadly)
And I have stopped watching new episodes because a) they are not funny, b) the characters are completely different, and c) YOU ARE NOT WORTH A MILLION DOLLARS. EACH.

Charmed (1998)
I own all nine seasons, mwah-ha-ha. But I have my favourite episodes (those without Prue, because it was painfully obvious that Shannen was the frontrunner there for a while). Paige FTW!

I started rewatching it again... such a good show. Sci-fi isn't normally my thing, but I think this has something for everyone: drama, romance, thrill, suspense, the whole works.

Knight Rider (1982)
There was a time *is a time* when I wanted to steal KITT because KITT is KITT. Anyone who's watched this show knows what I mean!

All in the Family (1971)
Like Fawlty, it gets a bit formulaic, but when it's good, it's really good (though I'd never want to be a part of this family).

It's fun to guess which crazy myths really are myths and which actually happened. It's a wild world...

The IT Crowd (2006)
Introduced to me by a friend, it's definitely not a show everyone would like (trust me. I tried to show it to my family, didn't work). But I like it; the characters are quirky (Jen's just mean sometimes, though) and the situations they end up in are quite hilarious. It's a shame it ended after just a handful of episodes.

There was a part in the middle where I was going to give up on this show (it was like watching the minutiae of someone's life unfold) but then things got funny and interesting again and I'm a fan, yay!

Sherlock (2010)
Well, what can I say that hasn't already been said? Excellent acting, storyline (*koff*Sir Doyle*koff*) and might I say, AMAZING direction! It really adds a unique, suspenseful sort of twist to the simple shaky-handheld-camera work of most detective shows.
I have put a stationary pic because curses, the GIF was deleted.

The Mindy Project (2012)
My newest love. Mindy is absolutely refreshing (though a bit morally questionable at times) and the supporting cast has their moments as well (perhaps even better than dear Mindy, at times). It's back and it's still pretty good!

Nip/Tuck (2003)
Besides the fact that both the surgeons are unbelievably gorgeous, each episode I've seen handles multiple plots with dexterity and thankfully enough knot-tying to keep me satisfied but just enough suspense to keep me interested!
Update: The move to California was a killer.

Only because of Chris Meloni, but the whole family is cute (EXCEPT FOR THE DAUGHTER, I DESPISE HER).
I just found out this one is cancelled! Noooo - but I can understand. The humour isn't for everyone...

(Tom Felton)
But otherwise, the main characters are likeable (if not predictable). I will keep watching just to see if any twists and turns are thrown in.
Update: I think more ought to have happened to make the one-case-per-season thing more fast-paced. The trial process was interesting to watch, though; it seemed more realistic than other shows (*sad cough*SVU*sad cough*).

Oz (1997)
I've heard good things about it, and after watching, they were more than warranted. While the characters are sketchy morals-wise, I love seeing each of their stories unfold on-screen. Poor Tobias!
Update: finished it and it has become one of my absolute faves. I have no complaints (except the fact that I can never watch it with my family).

Scandal (2012)
"Political thriller" sounds like a bad CNN show but within the first five minutes of the premiere episode, I was in! Kerry Washington is an amazing actress as usual, and each of the characters have their share of good and bad traits, so I never know who to root for, which is engaging in itself!
It's back and has made it over the not-very-interesting hump with a CLIFFHANGER! I can't wait until January - curse you, mid-season finales!

Orange Is the New Black (2013)
A recent revelation... it's great, and I see a lot of parallels with Oz (male/female prison, backstories, drama, love, etc.) except of course, Oz is wrought with violence. Waiting for the third season!

Just one season, and though it was the usual sitcom, it was kind of enjoyable! I liked the fact that Kate and Will could be friends without the usual love ending, and all of them are stunning! My only problem was the lack of diversity...

Jane the Virgin (2014)
This show started off innocently, but I see it's getting twisty, much like Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder, though the critics seem more approving of this one than the others! Rafael and Jane's relationship seems very mature -- they spend a lot of time talking out their feelings, rather than letting things grow in a soap-opera-esque way (even though the producers are purporting this show as very soap-opera-esque, haha).

I have to get caught up on this, but the episodes I've seen were great -- amazing acting, set design, but of course, they cut out parts of the book. MAJOR parts in some areas, but what they did include was accurate (except for the character they eliminated, for some reason).

Hannibal (2013)
A friend recommended this one as well, and I found it's very similar in its level of gore to Nip/Tuck. Of course, aside from that, they are very different shows. Hannibal is more artistic with its camera work, and there is hardly anything funny in this psychological thriller/horror/drama.

Empire (2015)
I blitzed the whole first season and am very annoyed that it won't be back until the fall :'( All the issues tackled on it -- race, sexual orientation, ethics, family, abuse, etc. + the catchy, catchy music + the gorgeous actors and actresses means this is definitely a show to watch!
