Pokemon: Silver Version - Game Boy Color
Addiction Level: 9.9/10
Replay Value: 9.8/10
Summary: Pokemon Silver is the best game in the series, and is addicting as ever. It never gets old.
The Cineast's rating:
Pokémon: Crystal Version - Game Boy Color
Addiction Level: 9.9/10
Replay Value: 9.8/10
Summary: I won't lie to you, this game is basically an exact replica of Silver and gold, with the exception of having more Pokemon. Than again this game is addicting as ever, and also never gets boring.
The Cineast's rating:
Pokemon: Blue Version - Game Boy
Addiction Level: 9/10
Replay Value: 8/10
Summary: Pokemon Blue Version was the first Pokemon game I ever played, along with Red and Yellow. This is how I first became addicted. The game isn't quite as good as the newer installments, but I still love it. The newer versions also have a total of 16 badges, by being able to go back in time to the older cites, which makes those a bit more entertaining, and have a higher replay value.
The Cineast's rating:
Pokémon: Yellow Version - Game Boy
Addiction Level: 8.9/10
Replay Value: 8/10
Summary: Yellow Version is great in almost every way, with the exception of the replay value. I personally got addicted to this game, but not nearly enough. There is something not as fun about it. Maybe it's the fact that I enjoy choosing my own starting Pokemon, and not just Pikachu. He is great and all, but he limits my ability to raise other Pokemon to make them stronger when he is always whining and wanting all the battle time. I like being more freestyle by having the choice of three Pokemon. Still an excellent game.
The Cineast's rating:
Super Mario Land - Game Boy
Addiction Level: 8.8/10
Replay Value: 9/10
Summary: This is the classic Mario game, and easily the best, nothing else needs to be said.
The Cineast's rating:
Wario Land 3 - Game Boy Color
Addiction Level: 7/10
Replay Value: 7.5/10
Summary: Wario Land 3 is a great game, but just not nearly as good as the nearly flawless classics listed above. The game does get old fairly quick, but for however much playing time you get in, it will be fun.
