Favorite Character Casts

Ermac, Noob Saibot, Sektor, Cyrax, Scorpion, Sub Zero, Mileena, Kitana, Sindel, Rayden, Rain, Kabal.

The others are interesting too (Motaro, Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung, Jade, Reptile, Stryker, Nightwolf, Sheeva, Smoke, Quan Chi, Bo Rai Cho, Shinnok, Kenshi, Onaga, Kung Jin, Erron Black).

A great cast filled with interesting characters with unique aesthetics and special moves and at least somewhat interesting stories.

Orchid, Cinder, Spinal, Fulgore, Glacius, Maya, Kim Wu, Thunder, Jago.

Others that are nice too: Sabrewulf, Tusk.

Others that are interesting: Riptor, Eyedol, TJ Combo, Sadira.

Every one of them is unique visuals and great stories. Distinctive normals and unique looking special moves, but not a lot of gameplay differences otherwise.

Kyo Kusanagi, Iori Yagami, Leona Heidern, Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui, Benimaru Nikaido, Athena Asamiya, K' Dash, Whip, Bao, Shingo Yabuki, Yuri Sakazaki.

Others are interesting too (Shermie, Yashiro Nanakase, Billy Kaplan, Bandeiras, Rugal Bernstein, Geese Howard, Vice, Mature, Lin, Joe Higashi, Ryuji Yamazaki, Choi Bounge, Chin Gentsai, Chang Koehan, Shunei).

Great cast with bold characters that all have somewhat the same flair. But their combat moves are different, with pretty unique hitboxes and hurtboxes.

The game is not that good, though.

Faves I play with: Xavier, Shadow.

Others are nice too: Larcen, Trident, Blade, RAX, Slash, Midknight, Riptide.

Jetta is not that great.

All of the characters are very unique. Too unique, even. Their look and lore is distinct, their special moves are distinct and their basic moves are also very distinct.

Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, Millia Rage, Jam Kuradobeki, Chipp Zanuff, Dizzy, Axl Low, May.

Nice too: Potemkin, Dr. Faust Baldhead, I-No, Justice, Kliff Undersn, Testament, Zappa, Bridget, Slayer, Eddie, Johnny.

Very bold characters, all very distinct even though they all have the same flair (a loony edgy flair). Some have very unique special moves.

Morrigan, Demitri, Jon Talbain, Bishamon, Lord Raptor, Rikuo, Felicia, Victor, Huitzil, Anakaris, Sasquatch, Lilith.

A bunch of very unique, well-themed characters.

Soul Calibur series.

Ivy Valentine, Killik, Nightmare, Siegfried, Sophitia Alexandra, Taki, Cassandra Alexandra.

Others nice too: Astaroth, Voldo, Lizardman.

The ones that aren't too basic have a lot of unique flair to them.

Fatal Fury/Garou series.

Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui, Rock Howard, Hokutomaru.

Also nice: Blue Mary, Billy Kane, Bonne Jennett, Tizoc, Geese Howard, Joe Higashi, Ryuji Yamazaki, Duck King, Sokaku Mochizuki.

Great characters but sparsed out around 8 games.

Nakoruru, Haohmaru, Charlotte, Hanzo Hattori.

Others: Cham Cham, Amakusa, Galford, Nicotine Caffeine.

Christie, Ayane, Tina Armstrong, Kasumi, Hayate, Ryu Hayabusa, Helena.

Nice too: Bayman, Leon, Ein, Gen Fu, Zack.

A bit basic, perhaps, but interesting nonetheless. I think the gameplay style of DoA actually helps them.

Anna Williams, Jin Kazama, Hwoarang, Eddy Gordo.

Others: Paul, Yoshimitsu, Heihachi Mishima, Nina Williams, Forest Law, Lei Woolong, King, Raven.

Tekken usually has either character that are too bland or characters that are too out there, but some (above) have a fine balance of flair and appeal.

A very bland cast in general, however...

Almost as bland as Street Fighter.
