Human biological samples collected from patients or living donors are stored in human biobanks. Biorepositories is another name for it. These are specialised organisations with advanced infrastructure and equipment for biobanking of human samples. Human biobanks facilitate collecting, processing, storing, and delivering human biomaterials to research institutions.
