But the role that really catapulted her to huge fame was her role in teen erotic thriller "Wild Things" opposite Matt Dillon and Neve Campbell. Her sex appeal earned her the role of Bond girl, "Dr. Christmas Jones" in "The World is Not Enough". While she was extremely unconvincing as a nuclear physicist, no one can deny that she wasn't an incredibly hot Bond girl.

Perhaps the definitive sex symbol of the 90s, Pam Anderson broke out as a Playboy Playmate and would go on to have a highly successful TV career. She starred in a bunch of erotic movies and became the reason for Baywatch's massive success in her role as CJ Parker. She also had a very public personal life and her infamous relationship with Tommy Lee led to perhaps the most popular sex tape of all time.

My personal favorite, this gorgeous actress had her breakthrough in the 80s (Labyrinth) as a teen star. She had some highly memorable roles in the 90s, even in the movies where she wasn't nude (Career Opportunities). Perhaps her peak role as a sex symbol was in "The Hot Spot" (1990). A highly rare combination of beautiful face, voluptuous natural body, and acting ability, 90s Jennifer Connelly was a unicorn, even by today's standards. Unfortunately, she struggled with eating disorder (leading her to lose a lot of weight) and she also had breast reduction surgery done. But despite all that, even in her 40s, Jennifer Connelly remains a beautiful woman.

One of the prominent 90s sex symbols, Carmen Electra gained fame with her first nude pictorial in Playboy. It led to a season of Baywatch and would later host MTV's "Singled Out". She posed numerous times for Playboy and went on to have a successful acting career in trashy comedy movies.
