Artist Dick Sargent

Richard "Dick" Sargent was a Post cover illustrator in the 1950s and '60s. Like Norman Rockwell he had a certain humor to his work.The first of Sargent's 47 Post covers appeared in 1951. He also sold illustrations to Fortune, Woman's Day, and American magazine. The actor Dick Sargent took his stage name from Richard.
