This movie is pretty good. I was bored while watching it but that's because I've seen it before twice, I think, so I already knew a little bit of the story.

I'm watching it again because I want to watch the third one and I don't remember everything about those movies.

Pretty good until the demon shows up. I'm not a fan of entities appearing in movies because it takes away a bit of the suspense. Somehow it is more frightening to imagine it than to see it.

Nevertheless, it's one of the good ones.

I didn't remember anything at all about this movie, but it was a fun watch for sure, a great sequence to the first one. It's certainly more entertaining, as it explores more of the politics and tensions created by the meeting of apes and humans.

And there are monkeys with machine guns riding horses. Yeah, you read that right: they ride horses.

It's definitely the worse of the bunch. It was a slog for me to watch it, not entertaining at all, a step back from its predecessor.

They came up with a new character to be funny and he isn't funny at all, the "touching moments" had no weight to me and the whole premisse of the movie was very weak. Even the girl, that seems to have been heavily featured in promotion, had no place in it. The supposed connection between them is non-existent, poorly done.

It's my second time watching it. There's no element of surprise anymore so the flaws are more apparent. I think is the laziest of the bunch, with very dumb choices, like horses on a star destroyer and the force being used for pretty much everything. Leia, which is annoying to me in the original trilogy, became bearable, that's a positive.

But having watched the sequel trilogy again I can see the first movie had a lot of potencial. All wasted.

I watched this movie countless times. It's easily one of the movies I watched the most, enough to know lines and all. And now I'm re-watching it because I want to go through the entire series as I haven't seen the newest entries yet.

The special-effects are very good for a 2003 movie. They were very smart to keep the effect for night time, when the visibility is lower overall. It helped sell the effects as more realistic. The soundtrack is another highlight.

I still don't like the couple Will and Elizabeth, but Jack Sparrow remains as one of my favourite movie characters of all time with he's mannerism, resourcefulness, optimism and grandiouse persona. It has one the best introductions for a character I've ever seen.

I also really like Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa. He's very entertaining, another very strong perfomance.

I'll give this movie a 4/5 because of the couple, which is always cringeworthy to see.

Somehow better than the first one. The constant running around, back and forth between characters in a convoluted plot is very entertaining. Also the couple's plotline is toned-down a bit, much to the movie's benefit.

After almost 3 hours of movie I have to say it is certainly very epic. I had a hard time understanding what Calypso was saying, and Davy Jones sometimes, and I think the movie is too long, but it's good.

It's also good to see Barbossa coming back, he's easily one of the best.

This movie is pure gold!

Alright, after that terrible (but mandatory) joke... well, this is a great movie. It was recommended by a friend of mine and it is full of twists and turns, just the way I like it.

I was planning on watching piece by piece, but ended up just watching it in pretty much in one sitting. The story, the acting, both pretty much spot on.

It's better than I thought it would be. I guess there's some kind of expectation that a movie based on a game licence will be bad, but it's not the case with this one.

Also, Alicia Vikander is great in it and I'd like to see more of her on this roll.

I'm reading the book, so I decided to see how the movies despicted the same events. It was an interesting experience. There are a lot of deviations and it's good to be able to spot them.

The book is very good and I'll continue my reading, but I think I'll read it all before watching the sequel.

The movie itself is good enough, but I guess I appreciate it more now that I read a bit of the book. The story is good and the book is getting me interested in this universe in a way the movie never could.

Gandalf and Bilbo are my favourites by far.

I guess the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series is very consistent in term of quality. I had a lot of fun with this one. I really liked the addition of Angelica and Blackbeard and I think her chemistry with Jack to be on point.

The plot is not as convoluted as in the other movies, but Jack, to me, is played a bit too "Jacky". It felt forced at times. The humour is not exactly on point either for some reason.

But that's it for criticism on my part. I had fun.

To me this is clearly the weakest of the bunch, the charm is almost all gone. I do like Kaya Scodelario in it, but I feel no chemistry between her and Henry Turner. Barbossa and Jack also are no longer that fun to watch. The action is somehow weird and uninspired, lazy I'd say. The premise of the movie is alright, but could be better.

Some other characters come back, but they are not as fun as they used to be. The jokes are few and land much less often, even less than in the last movie.

I won't say is a bad movie, but its quality is certainly a sign of a decandent movie series.

This movie has a very odd premise and that's why I got interested in it, but I'll just go ahead and say it's disappointing, almost cringe-worthy at times in it's futile attempts to be edgy.

More and more deviations from the book, almost all of them uncalled for. The whole plot involving the Tauriel and Fili is utterly unnecessary and feels forced, cringe-worthy . Gandolf adventure is clearly a way to connect this story to the Lord of the Rings, as it is the appearence of Legolas.

Bilbo continues to amuze me, and Smaug is alright, although not as entertaining or smart as in the book.

I won't lie. I found this movie very lame. Turma da Mônica was present in my childhood and the characters are dear to me, but I didn't like the way they were presented here, especially Cebolinha. He should be a little more charismatic, instead of a total douchebag.

The whole story could be better told, actually. I was a very ineffective story emotionally.

When I watched the first time, back in 2018, I gave it 3 stars, but now that I've read the book I'd give it 2. It's a much less appealing story because of the changes and limitations of the movie.

The cast, clothes and scenary are great, I'll give them that, and I liked Kenneth Branagh's Poirot a lot, but the whole story seems rushed and the characters are not well fleshed out. They also made a lot of needless changes in regards to the characters, sometimes combining them into one, sometimes modifying some aspect of them, sometimes replacing them altogether, and I found it baffling. The result of all this is a mess, sadly.

It's a great story that deserves a great adaptation and this is simply not it.

The book is, again, better.

I finally watched this again. It's very sad that they used a material with so much potential to make such a bad movie.

I do like the casting for Superman and Batman, I think is one of the best ever even. The warehouse fight scene is obviously the best part of the movie and I wish to see more of it. I don't like Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. I like what they were doing with the character, but not her. She doesn't convince me at all in the roll and it seams forced. Lex Luthor is beyond ridiculous. The remaining cast is alright.

The lack of communication and forced combat is a shame. I think that in a movie centered in the fight between Superman and Batman one would spend some time actually thinking about ways to give the combat and its resolution some meaning. It's the biggest flaw in this movie by far. The whole point of the movie is the fight and the fight itself is badly executed, the reason they are fighting is superficial, shallow and unrealistic, and its resolution is laughable. They could have done so much better.

It all seams to be a result of desperation. They were clearly throwing everything they found about those characters at the wall to see what sticked. There's no planning, no character development, no reason, no forethought, nothing. At times I felt like I was a watching a huge trailer: flashy lights, but no meaning, no heart at all.

But I'm sure I'm beat a horse long dead.

It's Studio Ghibli, so it's very well made, but in my opinion it's not as good as Kiki's Delivery Service. It's a very strange story and I'm yet to make a research about it's meaning and symbolism.

I also watched it italian, although this time I used subtitles because the subjects discussed throught the film were foreign to me, thus harder to follow.

I think four stars is fair enough. I'd feel bad to give it a lesser score.

It's far from my favourite Disney movie, but it's good enough, I guess. It has good moments. It's clear to me that it was made with girls in mind and that might be the reason I don't enjoy it as much. Or it may be something else entirely because I like Kiki's Delivery Service and that the story is told from a girl's perspective too. I guess there's something wrong with this movie and I don't know what it is.

The songs are also a little off to me. Except for "I'll make a man out of you", which has a nice sequence, the other ones are very forgettable.

It was my first time watching it in english and I didn't get a lot of what Mushu said, even though he was funny at (rarer) times. I did like Mulan as a character a lot.

Overall, I think the story could have been better told.

I'll give it a lower score because I was bored while watching. It felt like a chore.

It's a Michael Bay movie so it has over the top editing with no time to breath, action all the time to the point of exaustion, shallow douchebag characters, you know the deal...

The movie itself is good enough, but I was bored during the whole story. There's nothing new about it, no tension, no stakes. You know from the get go that the heroes are going to win no matter what and that's.. lame.

It also reminded me a lot of The Fast and the Furious, which is a franchise I don't particularly enjoy.

The actors are good. The director, no so much.
