This may be hard to believe but I DON'T WATCH A LOT OF TELEVISION. Yeah yeah, I know how that sounds, and I'm not just saying that just to sound cool like Vincent Vega. It's really the truth but it's not like I intended it to be that way. Honestly, I just don't know what to watch. I hate reality shows like herpes and if I'm ever caught watching one it's usually cause people won't shut the f*** up about them like "the Osbornes". The only kinds of reality shows I do like to watch are the kind that don't make the Human Race look like an invading alien race could literally topple us in a matter of 2 seconds! -I'll watch stuff that comes on the Discovery Channel or History cause I don't like having my intelligence insulted. -But the only reason I mention this is cause it seems the best scripted tv shows always gotta go to HBO and I don't get HBO where I live and honestly - I just can't keep up with everything anymore. You virtually have to watch television purely through DVDs now and they always gotta cost you the deed to your house to purchase, a guy could go into 'bankruptcy' trying to stay up to date with "Dexter" or "Breaking Bad".
So perhaps I'm being a bit bias but it's in my experience that most of the best shows that the ol' boob tube has had to offer have come and gone. Perhaps that's a sign of how ridiculously old I'm starting to get (I say that cause I'm not even out of my 20s yet - this is f***ing ridiculous y'all!) but unless somebody directs me to a new show as a personal favor to them and I get around to watching it, this list is a totality of the best of the best television I have seen, how I rank it, and why I like it - and why I think you should too. I don't do much work on this list so it might take a while to get up to date, so my readers will have to be patient.
I mostly started this list as a companion piece to my other tv list made up of my favorite animated series and I'd very much appreciate it if y'all checked it out sometime:
