At the age of eighteen Lisa started her first business a Shakespeare theater troupe called The Midsummer Players. She directed, acted, and designed for the company for four years all the while going to college at BYU-Idaho and managing a residential camp. Lisa then moved to Los Angeles where she lives as an actor and helped found the independent film studio Runes Picture Company.
