Leila’s obsession with creativity began at age four in Cincinnati by entertaining her relatives and family friends, and her father captured hours of her impersonations, singing, dancing, and imaginative storytelling on home videos. It is no surprise that she turned out a creative type considering she is the daughter of two musicians. Over the years, Leila became intrigued by the video camera that her father owned, and by age twelve, she started writing scripts and directing short films and sketches in which she cast her younger siblings and their neighborhood friends.
