Layal was born in Beirut, Lebaon. She attended a Catholic French school from the age of 4 untill she graduated at the age of 17. Her father George works in insurance, her mother Elham worked for a reputable fashion designer. Layal studied journalism for 3 years before turning to acting.

Layal studies abroad include the likes of training courses in Hollywood, California. She attended various workshops and worked with numerous acting coaches, among them the renowned acting studio Stella Adler, The Groundling Theatre and celebrity acting coach Michelle Danner. Originally trained as a method actress, she has recently developed an interest in Adler technique and consider it to be the closest to the heart of an actor.

The Lebanese television series “Kinda” marked her debut as an on screen television actress. The series was broadcasted on LBC, a prominent Lebanese network watched all over the Middle East.

After “Kinda”, she signed on with Online Production Company for two more television series.

Starting off her career in Dubai, Layal has been able to touch the entire Arab world as a television show host on the highly reputable Network, Infinity TV. Through this exposure as a host she was asked to star on the cover of “Al Mar’a Lyom” magazine, one of the most highly circulated magazines in the Middle East.

She quickly became in demand for TV shows that she was selected as the face for Lipton Tea commercial campaign, the running of it was so successful that it continued into its second year of broadcasting on all local and international Arabic televisions. ... (more)
