Laureta Giata was born in Albania and raised in Athens, Greece. She attended a BA program at Panteion University of Athens, and received a full three-year scholarship for outstanding performance at G. Theodosiadis Athens Drama School.
Fluent in four languages including English, Spanish, and French, she has trained internationally at additional institutions including Film Acting Paris and the New York Film Academy. Based in New York since 2014, she has also studied ballet, contemporary and jazz dance at Peridance Capezio Center.
