Description: Born in Johnstone, Scotland, Lauren began acting in local theatre at the age of 6, in productions including Les Miserables and Annie. When she turned 11, she began training part-time at GAMTA; a performance school in Glasgow where she trained in Acting, Singing and Dance. Lauren booked her first film role in short film 'Bird' in 2011, for which she was nominated for a Scottish BAFTA New Talent Award. At the age of 16, Lauren successfully gained a place on the BA Acting course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and was awarded the BAFTA Scholarship for Acting during her training there.
