She also wrote the short film, Loving Logan (2016) and is in development as the writer and director for three other projects.
Theatrically, Laura is known for her ability to manipulate a character into something unexpected, giving her the freedom to create her characters as both good and evil. While her skills include comedy and improvisation, Laura's strength lies in dramatic and intense roles. She has won two awards from Indi.com's national acting competitions, as well as earning a "fan favorite" award. Her acting styles have been compared to the likes of Nina Dobrev, Michelle Rodriguez and Kerry Washington.
Laura is a contributing writer for Elite Daily, focusing on motivation and positivity. Her first three motivational articles have been shared on social media over 100,000 times combined. She hopes to use her platform as a motivational writer to touch the lives of people struggling with mental illnesses. She is also a supporter of the ISF (Ian Somerhalder Foundation), which focuses on global conservation, educating the youth, preventing and ending animal cruelty, and protecting wildlife.
Laura frequently attends acting workshops at GoGo Casting Studio in Los Angeles, and has studied with Joseph Pearlman in his master class at Pearlman Acting Academy. She plans to attend Margie Haber's Intensive Studies program in the near future.
