Laila Shaker

Laila began acting at the age of 14 in the SF Bay Area where she homeschooled, worked in several short films and commercials, and discovered her love of comedy and improv. At the age of 19 she moved to Los Angeles and now studies improv at The Groundlings and film acting at Anthony Meindl's Actor's Workshop. She attributes her unique look, inclusive attitude and diverse viewpoint to growing up with an Egyptian father and a Jewish mother from Detroit.
