Description:
Though singing before she could speak and writing music for much of her life, Lacy Rose began taking shape as a musical artist while studying Opera at Loyola University in New Orleans. Her haunted and often bizarre day-to-day experiences as both a student and street performer led to an outpouring of creative energy, leading to a unique style of singing and the creation of new music that showed influences of cabaret, jazz, Baroque arias, and dramatic depictions of tragic and eternal love. In October of 2012, she released her first album, the EP-length Ghost Music.
