Krista Nell was an Austrian film actress. Born Doris Kristanel, Krista Nell debuted in French cinema, then moved to Rome where became a minor starlet in Italian genre films, especially Spaghetti Westerns and commedie sexy all'italiana. She was the longtime companion of Italian actor Ettore Manni at the time of her death from leukemia at age 28. The couple appeared in at least three pictures together, including Karzan, il favoloso uomo della jungla (1972), Arrivano Django e Sartana... è la fine (1970) and Les belles au bois dormantes (1970).
