Description:
Kerri McLean was born in Birmingham, England, and is the youngest of two siblings. Her father is Jamaican and her mother is English of Flemish and Welsh ancestry. From a young age Kerri had a driving energy and passion for drama, after leaving school she went on to study art, media, and theatre at college. She then moved to London to study Modern Drama Studies at Brunel University, and she began working professionally as an actress in 2001. Since then Kerri has gone on to become a theatre director and producer also. Kerri undertook further training through an audio production Masters Degree at London's University of Westminster
