Kenneth Connor was a beloved British actor whose career spanned stage, film, radio, and television. Born on June 6, 1918, in Islington, London, he made his stage debut at just two years old in one of his father's concert parties. By age 11, he had developed his own act and later trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, where he won a gold medal. After serving in the Middlesex Regiment during World War II, Connor joined the Bristol Old Vic and built a solid foundation in classical theatre before shifting toward comedy, where he found his true calling.
He rose to national fame through his roles in the iconic Carry On
