Kelsey Deanne was born in Fort Worth, TX and moved around during her childhood to Houston, South Dakota, and the Bay Area, CA. She always wanted to do and experience everything (in a healthy way, not drugs) including piano, ballet, chearleading, band (five instruments), competitive road cycling, scuba diving, surfing, and competitive running, just to name a few.

Since she couldn't figure out what she wanted to do with her life, and high school wasn't providing any answers, she graduated from Burlingame High School one year early to attend Lawrence University's Conservatory of Music in Appleton, WI on a piano performance scholarship. After one semester of practicing in a basement studio for 6 hours a day, she switched majors to anthropology where she had more human contact. She joined the Cross-Country and Track teams and earned a B.A. in three years. Kelsey continued her education to complete a M.A. in applied anthropology from University of North Texas in 1.5 years and another M.A. in anthropology from The New School (NYC).
It was while studying in NYC that she realized academia wasn't for her. Through the prompting of a friend, Kelsey went to a hair model casting and booked the job. It gave her the confidence she needed to land a commercial/print agent, Rick Miller, who encouraged her to take on-camera commercial classes. She fell in love with acting and has been breathing it ever since with the help of her mentor, Harry O'Reilly.
After three years of guns blazing, her resume includes a supporting role in Stevan Mena's "Malevolence 3", co-star role in a NBC web pilot "Harbors", lead in SyFy's "School Spirits", lead and supporting roles in three Discovery ID shows, and the lead role of Brandy in the indie film "Circle".
In her free time, she enjoys running in Central Park with her Doberman Pinscher (Onyx), checking out comedy clubs, writing, reading voraciously, and exploring NYC and the world with her husband, Frederik.
