Half-Ukrainian and half-African-American, Kaya Coleman was born and raised in Calgary and began acting in commercials at the age of four. She quickly took a liking to Film & TV and some of her credits include supporting roles in Resurrecting the Champ (2007), Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart (2016) and The Color Rose (2020). She was also the principal actor in Post-Modern Connection's "Memories" music video that won the Kootenay's Video of the Year Award (2019). In addition to acting, Kaya has been modeling for over five years and some of her work has been featured in BuzzFeed and MTV news articles.
