Karla Cossio was born on June 22, 1985. She has a brother, Frantz Cossio, who is also an actor and appeared with her in the Mexican soap opera, "Clase 406". Karla began taking acting classes from a very young age. She was enrolled at the "Centro de Educacion Artistica Infantil" and later on studied at the "Centro de Educacion Artistico" of Televisa.
