Karen was born in Atlanta, Georgia and has lived there most of her life. At the tender age of 10, she began writing, directing and starring in plays for her elementary school. When she started middle school, she began participating in school productions earning the coveted lead roles and singing solos. From that point on she knew that her passion was acting. Karen continued pursuing her dream in local playhouses as well as in school. After she graduated high school, she landed some work in the movie Fled and on the television show Savannah.
