Justin Ardalan-Raikes is a film and television producer born into one of London's oldest families. He was encouraged to enter the industry by his grandfather the legendary classics producer and director Raymond Raikes, who directed and produced many of the great London based actors of the 20th century, including amongst others John Gielgud, Laurence Olivier, Ralph Richardson, Ian McKellen, Maurice Denham, Peggy Ashcroft, Trevor Howard. His grandfather also directed and produced the hugely successful radio show 'Dick Barton special agent' which regularly got 20 million daily listeners and which was the precursor to James Bond.

He went to school with the British stage and film actor Joseph Fiennes. They share the same birthday and coincidentally moved to London together.
His childhood was spent surrounded by actors and people in the industry. His mother's godfather was the matinée idol Norman Wooland
He has produced & directed radio.
He served with British Special forces.
His Great Grandfather Charles Raikes built a professional working theatre at his Upper Norwood home in the late 1800's.
Christopher Lee played his great uncle Lt Cmdr Richard Raikes in the classic film about the Special Boat Service El infierno de los héroes (1955)
He is half English and half Royal Persian and is one of the last Christian high Princes of Kurdistan.
